At Wordsmith, we're building the future of legal AI

At Wordsmith, we’re on a mission to revolutionize the way legal teams work by providing AI-powered tools that streamline contract management, compliance, and legal research. Backed by leading investors, Wordsmith is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for an experienced Account Executive with a strong background in legal or legal technology sales to help drive our next stage of growth.

As an Account Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in Wordsmith’s expansion by closing new business, cultivating relationships, and positioning our AI-powered tools as must-have solutions for in-house legal teams. You’ll be working with mid-sized to large enterprises, engaging with legal professionals who are seeking innovative ways to improve their workflows and manage increasing demands on their teams.

This role is perfect for someone with experience in the legal industry or legal tech, who understands the pain points of legal professionals and can effectively communicate the value of AI-driven solutions.

Why is this role important?

  • Engage with legal professionals: Build and nurture relationships with General Counsels, Heads of Legal, and other key decision-makers within target organizations.

  • Demonstrate the value of Wordsmith’s solutions: Present tailored demos of Wordsmith’s products to showcase how our AI tools can optimize contract management, compliance, and legal workflows.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support for clients.

  • Negotiate and close deals: Lead contract negotiations and work towards exceeding quarterly sales targets.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously learn about legal technology and the challenges facing in-house legal teams to position Wordsmith as a thought leader and trusted partner.
