Like many growing companies, Multiverse recognised a pivotal moment to enhance its legal tech capabilities. To scale effectively, the goal was to significantly increase capacity through automation rather than headcount. One of the most significant challenges for Multiverse's in-house legal team was responding to time-sensitive business requests for insights from customer agreements.
The task of reviewing hundreds of agreements within tight deadlines was a major hurdle. The need to extract specific clauses and compare key data points across various contracts posed a massive challenge. By leveraging Wordsmith AI’s Reports feature, Multiverse was able to automate much of this process.

With growing procurement demands, Multiverse’s legal team also faced the pressure of reviewing a rising number of vendor agreements. Delays are never not an option, working closely with Wordsmith, they developed a legal review process with over 30 automated checks that consistently identify critical legal issues. This allows the procurement team to handle much of the initial review and escalate only the most significant matters to legal, significantly reducing time spent on routine reviews.
