Laura's expertise in helping legal professionals optimise their performance with GenAI is unparalleled and her arrival marks an exciting chapter for Wordsmith AI.

Laura joins us from the SaaS company, Worksome, where, as Legal Director, she played a pivotal role in advising on company compliance programs. Her work encompassed data governance under the EU AI Act, data privacy (GDPR and CCPA), as well as security standards like SOC-2, ensuring that products met international regulatory compliance. Her prior experience at Unity Technologies further demonstrates her deep understanding and commitment to the legal tech industry.

Beyond her legal acumen, Laura is a passionate speaker, regularly engaging audiences to inspire and educate on the safe integration of AI into legal and business practices. 

At Wordsmith AI, Laura will spearhead our learning and training, focusing on guiding lawyers in the use of AI for everyday tasks. She will develop comprehensive training modules on legal AI for new users joining our platform, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to leverage AI effectively. Laura will also offer specific training and masterclasses designed to initiate and optimise AI tools for enhanced efficiency.
